The first three months of this year have started in a most unusual way for me, and for our whole family.
Fernando started working as a satellite uplink engineer for Arctek HD, and this meant frequent--okay, make that constant--travel from one city to another to provide satellite uplink services for the sports media. He provided services for NCAA basketball and other sporting events, as well as some news services.
When we were presented with the opportunity for me to travel with Fernando, we both jumped at the chance. Winter is usually my off-season for photography, so it was an easy Yes! to traveling with Fernando.
Traveling was not glamorous, let me assure you! It involved driving--lots and lots of driving. And no time for sightseeing, either. Most of the sights I saw were at the arena where Fernando was uplinking (and lots of time inside the truck while Fernando worked!), and along the sides of innumerable highways at all hours of the day, and night.
Nevertheless, we were together, and we had fun.
Needless to say, my camera came with me, and I took some great pictures not only for myself and my own personal photo books, but for the benefit of Fernando's business and Arctek as well.
Enjoy my adventures with me and my camera!
